A hidden gem of southbay! Where Nice China lacks in ambiance, it makes up for in delicious authentic Chinese/cantonese food! I've dined in and ordered take out many times before and every meal has been delicious! Some of our go to: Soy sauce chicken Mince pork soup Tofu with fish black bean sauce Bbq duck Pumpkin with spareribs (special order) Lobster stir fry with garlic (special order)

Went to pick up a whole roast duck to go, many, many years ago, recommended by a friend. This is a very small restaurant, nothing fancy, no decor , but that's not important. The roast duck was good, so I thought to return and try out their other dishes! It was a busy evening for the restaurant, and there was just one waitress. I was in no hurry, we waited for a while for the waitress to clear a few tables , for all their waiting guests to sit down. We had the Sour and spicy soup, roast duck ( just an appetizer size) , wonton soup noodles and a special dish on their board, the 竹笙玉子豆腐, a tofu dish. The orders came rather quickly. Considering there was a table with 10 guests , another with 6 guests, 2 other tables of 2-3 guests. I give credit to the chef in the kitchen for sending every table their orders without long delays. The lone Waitress ,also working hard to retrieve empty dishes from each table, after sending each table their orders.

Always have the most amazing roast duck here. IMO better than anywhere else including the SGV 626 area, but don't expect a real large duck, but just the tastiest duck. Most times sold out so you may need to call ahead.

They are famous for their roast duck! Not really particularly fond of cooked duck in general. However, when roast duck is serve hot, its crunchies and juicy can be tastedully appreciated. Do not forget their other dishes too! Space have few seats that are convenient only for few customers for lunch and dinner. The owner chef is busy preparing the orders while a staff caters to much of everybody's needs.

Exceptional Cantonese Chef! Brought in a fresh lobster, and the chef instantly prepared it with ginger and scallion. Authentic and delicious. Highly recommended!

Duck, duck, duck, duck, duck, duck, duck, duck, duck, duck, duck, duck duck...............! Did I mention they serve duck? Best, cheapest, duck, probably in all of Los Angeles County! I feel nervous, even posting this, because I feel like it's my dirty little secret! Also, everything else you get here is legit, authentic Cantonese cuisine. Yeah, the place is a hole in the wall end it's about as bare-bones as you can get in terms of ambience, but they deliver, where they're supposed to, rockin, great, authentic Cantonese food! Did I mention they also serve duck?

Very impressive old school Cantonese-style Chinese hole in the wall restaurant! Went for first time a little while ago and liked it enough but when I returned months later they blew me away! The duck actually has crispy skin if you order either the roasted version and also (of course) Peking style. It was juicy and tender, much better than so many places I have been in decades of eating Chinese food! Peking duck we ordered came with the actual meat not just the skins. Very abundant and juicy. Meat fell off the bone for the drumstick! They also have Hong Kong style crispy noodles and they do it just right! Don't over fry the noodles and it's not too oily. Loads of gravy. The pork version comes with a ton of bean sprouts (yum) which reminds me of tri-shred liang mian huang! Also the rice was perfectly cooked--not too moist, nicely chewy. Not sticky. Very abundant. In fact all our portions were very generous on our recent visit!! I previously had visited where portions were much smaller so I'm happy that they've improved things since.

Returning back to Nice China Cafe after a while... It was amazing! Cantonese comfort food!! We came on Chinese New Year Day, so we reserved Lobster, Roasted Duck, and their Signature Pumpkin Pork Ribs Dish. All of these plus the Almond Tang Yuan Dessert need to be reserved in advance. All of their dishes were amazing! Lobster was fresh and perfect. Roasted Duck was crispy. Everything was at its perfect flavor. Their Signature Pumpkin Pork Ribs Dish was fun and served in a pumpkin, so you get to scoop the pumpkin meat from the pumpkin itself! I just came here 3 weeks ago, and I am already returning back again tomorrow! Casual ambience. Free parking in lot. They do not accept American Express.
